Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of blow drying with a Boar Bristle Brush?
Boar Bristle Brushes have been used since the 1800s and nowadays we can add high-grade nylon that makes the brush perfect for detangling coarse thick hair and adding a superior shine to the hair. Boar Bristles are incredible for carrying your scalps natural oils through the hair keeping it well-conditioned, reduces frizz and static and of in turn prevents oil build-up at your scalp.

In a nutshell – You will achieve a much better finish and your scalp will love you forever.

Can I add direct heat to The Time Saver Brush when I blow dry hair?
NO like all professional brushes If your hair dryer is TOO HOT and you place the nozzle directly on the hair brush you will get SPOT BURNING on your Time Saver Brush. Just think if you have spot burnt the boar and nylon bristle while you are blow-drying you are burning the hair too?

Applying the dryer directly onto your brush will not give you a better finish it will simply choke your hair dryer.

Will the Time saver brush be good to blow dry my hair straight?
Absolutely if you are after a hair straightener brush that will smooth the hair and take away the frizz at the same time, the boar bristles will give you the tension and the high-grade nylon will give you the shine. Best of all if you take long sections like you see in the video tutorials you will get your finish in half the time.
How do I clean a boar bristle brush?
1. Remove all the excess hair off the brush, I use the Lorna Evans Curved comb as its made of high grade carbon so the teeth wont chip and the curve of the comb will capture the hair easier.

2. Place the brush a sink with warm water and a squirt of shampoo we highly recommend you use sulphate free shampoo to protect the natural bristles.

3. Let it soak for around 10 min

4. Rinse with Luke warm water

5. Allow to dry and whala your Boar Bristle Time Saver Brush is as good as new
